We aim to be a genuinely sustainable company. This is reflected in our everyday work and at all levels.

We need to see the big picture and appreciate the importance of coordinating strategic goals and important sustainability issues. For us, it is both a strategic and an important choice to drive our business forward based on a sustainable business model. We consider sustainability work as both a responsibility and an opportunity to boost Swedol’s competitiveness.

Our sustainability work means, for example, that we gain more amfori BSCI Code of Conduct certified suppliers, that we increase the proportion of OEKO-TEX® certified garments and that we continue to work systematically with ISO 14001 and 9001 environment and quality certification standards.

However, we are under no illusions with regards to what still needs to be done. Together with our customers, employees, owners, investors, union organizations and suppliers, we are continuously developing our sustainability work to tackle current and future challenges.

In our efforts to increase transparency and to enable a greater understanding of what positive and negative effects arise in the chain, we have integrated our sustainability report into our annual report.

The annual report can be downloaded at our website. A GRI Index is also available here. You can also read more about the GRI Standards via their website.
